Simon Gabriel's homepage

I am a Viterbi postdoctoral fellow at SLMath in Berkeley, associated to the program Recent Trends in SPDEs, until December 2025.
Starting in January 2026, I will be a Morrey Visiting Assistant Professor at UC Berkeley.

My research interests lie in stochastic analysis and Markov processes, in particular stochastic partial differential equations and interacting particle systems.

Before coming to Berkeley, I was a postdoc in the Mathematics Cluster of Excellence at the University of Münster, in the research group of Hendrik Weber. Previously, I completed my PhD in Maths at the University of Warwick, advised by Nikos Zygouras and Paul Chleboun.

You can find recordings of talks I gave on the Allen-Cahn equation with weakly critical random initial datum and on how the Poisson-Dirichlet distribution emerges from interacting particle systems.
